EXPERIENCE
Mr. Eshelman is the manager of the Tulsa office of Traffic Engineering Consultants, Inc. He has extensive experience in the field of transportation engineering and planning. He joined the firm in August 2000 and opened the Tulsa office. He has worked on a wide variety of signal design projects, traffic impact analyses for new developments, traffic data collection projects, freeway operational analyses, parking studies, and safety studies.

Prior to his employment with TEC Mr. Eshelman worked for the City of Tulsa for 27 years. For the first 14 years he served as a Traffic Engineer responsible for all aspects of municipal traffic engineering. His areas of expertise include planning, design, and maintenance of traffic systems, traffic signals, traffic signs, and pavement markings. He obtained special expertise in bicycle safety and design, roadway lighting, school safety, and parking design. The last 13 years Mr. Eshelman served as the Chief Traffic Engineer for the City of Tulsa. He obtained expertise in working with Mayors, City Councils, Planning Commissions, private developers, and the public.

Prior to working with the City of Tulsa Mr. Eshelman was employed in Memphis by Harland Bartholomew and Associates for two years. He was involved with traffic signal design under the TOPICS Program.
