TEC provides the services necessary to conduct a complete analysis for a city or county to determine their traffic engineering needs. Information is gathered from staff including traffic signal inventories, traffic signal trouble-call logging procedures, records and ordinances on traffic signing, striping inventories, signing inventories, crash data, traffic volume data and other traffic/transportation plan review information. The information is summarized and a study is conducted to determine and recommend short and long term solutions to improve street system safety and efficiency, reduce liability exposure and assist in the future development or expansion of the city’s or county’s transportation infrastructure.
